Businesses Continue To Feel Effects Of Higher Gas Prices

Local businesses that depend on driving for their job say it's tough to have the price of gas continue to rise.

The state average for regular unleaded is at $3.58.

Locksmith Ralph Fuller, owner of Coastal Locks, Cann's Locksmith, says he already had to raise his rates at the beginning of the year and may have to do it again if the price of gas keeps rising.
Fuller says, "But it's hard to raise the prices especially when you're a small business and you want to continue to do business. But I mean if you don't raise the prices then you're going to suffer on the bottom line."

The national average for regular unleaded is $3.60, up from $2.79 at this time last year.

This is understandable for businesses to raise thier prices along with fuel, however what I don't understand is when gas prices drop businesses do NOT reflect the change.
