A strong area of low pressure will move off the North Carolina coast Friday evening bringing gusty winds and more rain along the coast. The low will push further offshore by Saturday morning and that will end the rain. Some sun will break through the clouds on Saturday but the winds will be gusty from the northeast at times. We'll see highs in the upper 50s in much of the area. Temperatures will dip into the lower 40s early Sunday then rebound into the middle 60s in the afternoon. We could see highs in the lower to middle 70s early next week. The next chance for rain after tonight will come Wednesday night or Thursday. Otherwise, enjoy the beautiful weather pattern over the next several days.
