Multiple agencies are investigating an explosion at a home in Craven County early Sunday morning.
Sgt. Weaver with the Craven County Sheriff's Department said an improvised explosive device was planted on the front porch of a house on Perrytown Loop Road. The device exploded around 3 a.m. Sunday.
The owner of the house was home at the time, that person was not injured.
Sgt. Weaver described the damage to the home as "medium."
The Craven County Sheriff's Department, SBI, ATF and FBI are all investigating the explosion.
