A boil water advisory has been listed for people who live on a half dozen streets in Jacksonville. The advisory was issued Monday after water pressure was lost during a construction project.
Those streets are in Williamsburg Plantation. They are Armistead Way, Mulholland Place, McKinnon Place, Wichersham Court, Brogen Lane, and Castleneau Court.
The city says a contractor was repairing broken valves on the city water line when pressure was lost on the line. While no contamination was been found, state regulations required residents to be the notified.
The advisory was lifted after test results came back that found no contamination.
