We now know how boater from the east died after his body was pulled from a South Carolina river.
Keith Sullivan's death was an accidental drowning, according to the
Georgetown County Coroner's Office said the body pulled from the Sampit River on February 8th is that of 45-year-old Keith Sullivan.
Sullivan had been missing since January 12th.
The Crystal Coast native was from Emerald Isle but had been living on his sailboat in South Carolina.

The Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office says that a body was found Saturday in water near Goat Island in Georgetown. The body is believed to be that of Keith Sullivan. Local media outlet South Strand News says that Sullivan is from Emerald Isle and had been living on his sailboat in the area.
Sullivan was reported missing back on January 12th.
Sheriff’s officials say that the body was discovered around 1:30 p.m. and that an autopsy will be performed to positively identify the body.
