Onslow County is among the areas to see the most snow here in Eastern Carolina.
Sneads Ferry saw five-inches of snow. Road conditions are bad causing people to slip and slide and, in some case, end up in the ditch. The bridge you would normally take to Topsail is covered in ice.
Sneads Ferry Resident Steve Midgett says it hasn't been this bad in a long time. "1989 we had 18 inches of snow in Eastern Carolina...this is probably one of the worse ones I've seen."
Conditions are expected to worsen into Tuesday with freezing conditions.
