Bertie Co. Shelter Open- Tetanus Shots, Free Dog Houses, Food Offered

A shelter opened Tuesday night in Bertie County. It is located at CG White School at 503 East Main Street in Powellsville.

Wednesday, meals and tetanus shots will be available in Trap at the Trap Store beginning at 11:30 in the morning.

Also, the Bertie County Humane Society has free dog food and dog houses for tornado victims.

    I've been told by several people that WAVY TV 10 had a story about a paper with my name and the address of this house where I lived for many years was found in Virgina sense the tornado!! The house in the picture in this story.
