Beaufort County Schools Get Donated Supplies To Help Post- Irene

Some students affected by Hurricane Irene are getting help from the kindness of another school system more than a hundred miles away.

Cumberland County Schools delivered a truck full of school supplies to Beaufort County's Central Office Tuesday morning, with students from Eastern Elementary and P.S. Jones Middle School helping to unload.

Beaufort County Superintendent Don Phipps says 4 schools had major damage from the hurricane, and says several families lost everything in the storm. Phipps says the supplies will be distributed to Beaufort County Schools Wednesday
