Beaufort Co. Hospital Holds Tree Lighting Ceremony

The 26th Annual Lights of Love tree lighting ceremony took place at Beaufort County Hospital Tuesday night.

The celebration featured musical entertainment by the John Cotton Tayloe Chorus and the St. John Church of Christ Men's Choir.

Lights of Love was established in 1986 as a means for members of the community to celebrate or remember a loved one during the holiday season.

Donations to Lights of Love are used to fund projects that promote health care education, improve community wellness, support and enhance patient care, and provide amenities that make the hospital more comfortable for patients and visitors.

This tree has really become a beautiful site on the hill. Each year the lights grow. Therefore our community grows as well. The lights of love the true meaning of giving, the meaning of Christmas. We were blessed to see this event once again.
