Baseball Returns To Grainger Stadium For Freedom Classic

Baseball will be played at Grainger Stadium in Kinston again, if only for a weekend.

The second annual Freedom Classic will bring America's pastime to the historic baseball stadium in Kinston this weekend. It might be the only chance to see baseball there for the foreseeable future, since no team calls the stadium home now that the Kinston Indians have moved to Zebulon.

You can catch the three game series between the Naval Academy and Air Force Academy baseball teams this weekend.

Hey Anonymous I can tell you why you should want to come to Kinston! To Support our young military men and women. Read the article from the Free Press and hopefully it will change you mind. http://www.kinston.com/articles/force-80172-historic-air.html This event helps "OUR" wounded warriors also. See these awesome people throw out a first pitch along with my grandson whose father died for America and you so you would be able to be so negative. And PLEASE don't put down my home town! All places have there ups and downs. Thank you
