NEW INFO: Well-Dressed Robber Hits Greenville Bank

A Greenville bank was robbed after police say a woman told the teller if she didn't get money a small child would get hurt.

It happened at the Bank of America branch on Greenville Boulevard around 2:15 p.m.

Greenville police say the woman handed a note. After getting an undisclosed amount of money the woman was last seen walking out of the bank.

Police say the woman is described as a black woman, 6 feet tall, around 60 years old, wearing a light jacket, brown fur hat and a dark shirt.

Because no weapon was used the woman would most likely be charged with felony larceny or extortion. There were no injuries in the robbery.

This is a man dressed as a woman! Just look at the size of those hands, and I bet the turtle neck sweater is to hide an adams apple. I thought Tyler Perry was rich, guess everyone is having a hard time lately.

I think the teller that didn't put up more of a fight not to give this random lady money should be fired....I mean give me a break, I would have laughed and said "prove it - where is this child crazy lady??". We need to be calling these people's bluffs and then we might still have money in our banks!!
