Bringing up the death of Waller to slander Bill is pathetic. The final clearing of a player should rest on the gut feelings of the parent. That should be the person that gives the final say so?

Why bring up Wallers death, it was 2 years ago. Grimm was an amazing person. He was not the one responsible for wallers death. Put it to rest and let him rest in piece.

I really do not know what is in the water with reporters in this town but lets be clear. My friend Bill died of a heart attack. He was not killed in a car accident. At least lets try to get something as simple as this correct. If he had passed away in bed, would he have been killed in a bed accident?? Rest in Peace Bill- you were a fine fellow and will be missed.

I didn't know Mr. Grimm personally, but know some that do. For this station to write this story at this time of grief for those that knew him, boy does that say a lot about this station. I will probably be at the visitation, and I hope I see some reporters there from this station, there will be some new news to cover for sure.

Do these new reporters have nothing better to write about other than the unforunate event that happened 2 years ago! Poor reporting for all news responders, do a little research beforehand! Grimm was a good man that did what he could for all athletes. Let him rest in peace.

Bless your heart WTIN, to reporting in the same story a man's unfortunate death and athelete's death from 2 years ago! Really was this neccesary? What in the world do the 2 have to do with each other. On reporting my death are you going to post my 2nd grade report card? This reporting shows no class!

So glad to see that the comments about this story are about the great man Bill Grimm was. He touched so many lives of students all over Pitt County. He was a true servant and deserves to be recognized for every kind action he took. So glad that the citizens of Pitt County are better than the media outlets - WITN, Reflector, etc! They only want to talk about the negative - even when it has nothing to do with the story. Sensationalism.

Grimm was the trainer at Conley when I attended there. I messed up my knee, and he took every precautionary measure possible with my injury. He was a very kind and caring person and will truly be missed!
