Army Mobile Hospital Replica Displayed In Greenville

When a person is injured in combat, getting them to a hospital quickly can be timely and difficult, which is the reason mobile hospitals are so crucial.

Thursday and Friday, the Army Reserve has set up a replica of one of its mobile hospital units at the East Carolina Heart Institute in Greenville. It's completely outfitted with all the equipment necessary to perform surgeries out in the field. Nursing students got a first hand look at the unit.

This display is awesome, however it is not just a Army Reserve asset it is used on the active duty side as well and for humanitarian missions across the world. Great asset that can be transformed from an O.R. to a dental office to a vet clinic. A must see when you get a chance.
