Dispatchers say an armed man held up the woman working at the Wilco Hess on East Blvd. in Williamston Wednesday night.
The security company called law enforcement for a hold-up alarm at 8:48 p.m., according to dispatchers. There was a woman working at the convenience store, and she reported the armed man had long dread locks, while wearing a black hoodie and a red bandana over his face.
Williamston police responded to investigate. No injuries were reported.
