HEAT WAVE: Another Sizzler As Temperatures Surpass 100°

It's was another day of triple digit weather here in Eastern Carolina.

Multiple locations hit the century mark for temperatures on Friday, while many others were not far off.

It reached 103° in Goldsboro, with Rocky Mount, New Bern, and Washington all hitting 102°, and 100° in Kinston and Richlands. Greenville and Swan Quarter were not far behind at 99°.

The region is under a heat advisory again tomorrow until 8:00 p.m. each day, meaning there could be heat indexes around 110°.

Raleigh tied an all time high temperature Friday at 104°.
