A Wet Wednesday Across Eastern North Carolina

A developing area of low pressure across Louisiana late Tuesday will move northeast and bring moisture into our area on Wednesday. The rain will move into the mountains late tonight and spread to the coast by Wednesday afternoon. Rainfall amounts should average between a half-inch and inch before tapering off early Thursday morning. it will remain mild through Thursday with highs the next two days well into the 50s and 60s. Drier and colder air will filter into eastern North Carolina Friday through the weekend.
