The unsettled weather pattern will continue across eastern North Carolina through the weekend. An area of low pressure will move northeast up along the coast spreading rain into most sections by Friday morning. The rain could be moderate to heavy, especially in our coastal counties. Most locations should receive an inch of rainfall, with locally heavier amounts. Temperatures will hit the lower 40s Friday and lower to middle 50s Saturday afternoon. The rain should end by Saturday evening.
