Southwest winds will push much above normal temperatures across eastern North Carolina on Tuesday. Highs will reach the lower to middle 70s except upper 60s along the Outer Banks. A cold front will push into the area Tuesday night and could produce an isolated shower. The front will push offshore early Wednesday giving us generally sunny conditions by the afternoon. Highs on Wednesday will cool to the lower 60s but dry conditions will be great for area travelers on the highways going away for Thanksgiving Day.
