It should be a warm Memorial Day Weekend across eastern North Carolina. A weak trough of low pressure will bring a few scattered showers on Saturday but sunny skies will return by Sunday and Monday. Highs will reach the middle 80s Saturday then rebound into the upper 80s Sunday with the increased amount of sunshine. Highs are likely to hit 90° or lower 90s by Monday afternoon.
The beaches could see a few showers Saturday but any activity should be brief. Partly cloudy skies Saturday will give way to lots of sunshine Sunday and Memorial Day. Highs will hit the 80s each day. Winds will blow out of the south at 10 to 15 mph through Memorial Day.
