A beautiful Easter Sunday is in store for eastern Carolina. Sunrise is at 6:26 am and temperatures should be in the mid 60s. There could be a few clouds around but no rain is anticipated.

Temperatures will warm into the 70s, then eventually 80s into the afternoon. Most inland locations will be in the middle and upper 80s Sunday afternoon, with 70s along the immediate coast.

The warmth continues into next week, with dry conditions expected Monday. There will be an increasing chance for showers and thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday, and especially Thursday. Highs will continue to be in the low and mid 80s.
