A Sunny Friday Across Eastern North Carolina

A cold front pushed through eastern North Carolina on Thursday bringing showers and seasonable temperatures. The front will move offshore late Thursday night followed by much drier air. Sunshine will return on Friday as afternoon highs reach the lower 60s. A storm system will be heading our way over the weekend and that could bring significant rainfall Saturday night and Sunday.

One of the worst weather forecasts I have ever seen after the duke NC state game tonight, Seriously, Sunday looks like a wash out. Do you even look at computer models, granted your RN forecast looks good but what about coastal flooding, Svr potential, maybe even some backside SN. You have a 1000mb low going into central GA from the gulf, 140kt jet core placing Easter NC in the left exit region, and all you say at the tail end of the weather cast is Sunday looks like a wash out, wow!!!
