A Sunny But Chilly Thursday Across Eastern North Carolina

High pressure following a strong cold front will bring dry but chilly conditions to eastern North Carolina on Thursday. Overnight lows will dip into the middle to upper 20s inland while coastal communities fall to the lower to middle 30s. Temperatures will rebound into the upper 40s to lower 50s on Thursday afternoon under mostly sunny skies. The seasonable weather will continue through Friday with warmer conditions expected over the weekend. There will be a risk for some showers by Saturday afternoon or evening.

I still don't get why the weather gets 4 spots in a 30 minute progrm. It doesn't change in that time frame on average. Give sports a few minutes or so to actually finish a story w/o flying thru it,
