A Slow Warming Trend Coming For Eastern North Carolina

Seasonable temperatures continued across eastern North Carolina on Tuesday as high pressure remained in control of the weather pattern. The high will move offshore Wednesday allowing a gradual warming trend into the end of the week. We will continue to see mostly sunny skies each day through Thursday. Highs will hit the upper 50s Wednesday then soar into the middle to upper 60s Thursday and Friday. A cold front will approach the area late Friday and may produce a few showers into Saturday morning. Dry and chilly weather is expected over the weekend.
