It will be a nice Thanksgiving Day across eastern North Carolina. There will be a mixture of clouds and sunshine with highs in the lower 60s. A sprinkle can't be ruled out but the chance for rainfall is slim until Friday. A cold front will charge through the area Friday afternoon accompanied by a few showers. Total rainfall should be less than a quarter inch in most locations. Any rain will be over Friday evening followed by clearing skies for the weekend. Sunny skies with highs in the lower 50s can be expected both Saturday and Sunday. Overall, a fairly good travel forecast.
