A milder weather pattern has finally moved into eastern North Carolina. Highs Saturday afternoon reached the middle to upper 50s in most locations and more of the same can be expected on Sunday. High pressure across the Middle Atlantic States will ensure mostly sunny skies for much of the day although clouds will likely increase by late afternoon. A weak weather system will bring more clouds and a slight risk for showers by Monday. Seasonable temperatures can be expected for the first portion of next week.
