A weak disturbance passing across the area Friday evening caused a few showers but most locations received less than a tenth of inch. Clearing skies are on tap for late Friday night and Saturday and that will produce lots of sunshine during the day. Highs will reach the middle to upper 70s in most communities. Another weak disturbance will cross the area Sunday morning and could produce a brief shower or thunderstorm. Otherwise we'll see a mixture of clouds and sunshine with highs back into the 70s. Temperatures will average at or above normal for the first half of next week.
