A Bit Milder On Friday Across Eastern North Carolina

It will be a quiet 24 hours across eastern North Carolina. High pressure will move offshore allowing a weak cold front to pass off the coast early Friday. Temperatures behind the front will be slightly milder on Friday with highs in the middle to upper 50s. Skies should be partly sunny for most of the day. Clouds will increase late in the day and there will be a threat for showers on Saturday. Another cold front will cross the area early Sunday bringing slightly cooler air back into the area Sunday.
