A toxicology report finds no evidence of drugs or alcohol in the system of a driver involved in a February crash that killed four people outside of Jacksonville.
The toxicology report was released by the state Medical Examiner's Office on Monday.
Authorities say the accident happened Feb. 15 when 24-year-old Saquan Lakiam Nelson of Maple Hill drove through a red light at the intersection of U.S. 258 and Highway 53 at almost 100 mph.
The vehicle hit an SUV driven by 30-year-old Rachel Delisle. Nelson, Delisle and two passengers in Nelson's vehicle were all killed.
North Carolina Highway Patrol Sgt. R.E. Dudley says the investigation continues.
