AUTOPSIES: All Hustle Mart Victims Died From Shots To Back Of Head

Autopsies for the remaining two victims in the Hustle Mart murders show the men had been shot in the back of the head, just like their cousin.

The reports on the deaths of Nabil Al'mogannahi and Mokbel Almujanhi were released today by the Medical Examiner's Office in Chapel Hill. The two, along with their cousin, David Alawi, were gunned down April 1st during a robbery at the Hustle Mart in Farmville.

The 16-year-old Almujanhi had four wounds, according to the autopsy. One of those, which exited near the left eye, was fatal. The teen was also hit in the leg and in both hands. The Medical Examiner says the shots to the head and leg could have been re-entry wounds.

Al'mogannahi, who was 26-years-old, was wounded in the right hand and in the back of the head, exiting near the left temple. Again, the autopsy says the second injury could have been a re-entry wound.

Alawi's autopsy was released last week. It said the 24-year-old man died from a single gunshot wound to the back of the head.

Four people have been charged for the murders. The district attorney says he'll seek the death penalty against the three adults, Antwan Anthony of Bethel, Willie Whitehead of Pinetops, and Xavier Shamble of Farmville. A fourth suspect, a 14-year-old, is being handled in juvenile court.
