APA Girls Soccer Beats Kinston

Arendell Parrott Academy varsity girls soccer defeated cross town rival Kinston High School 5-0.

The Patriots were led by Langley Mills, who had 2 goals and 2 assist. Madison Mauck, Margaret Ellen Edwards, and Melissa Rudolph contributed a goal each. Holden Arthur and Kayla King also recorded and assist for the Patriots.

It was the first match up between the school in several years, and was controlled by Parrott from the very beginning. Goalie Paige Bostick collected her 2nd shutout of the year while making 4 saves.

Parrott is 2-4-4 overall, and plays at home next Tuesday at 5:15 against Kerr Vance Academy.
