Boys enjoy Pactolus snow Tuesday night
Much colder air combined with a bit a moisture has produced some light snow across the northern half of eastern Carolina Tuesday evening.
We've had several reports of light snow in several counties.
The area of light snow will continue to push east and southeast into other sections of the area during the late evening. Temperatures are hovering in the lower to middle 30s where the light snow is falling.
Soil temperatures are well above freezing so little or no accumulation is expected. The light snow will end from northwest to southeast quickly by midnight or shortly thereafter followed by clearing skies, windy and colder conditions.
Overnight lows will dip into the upper 20s with wind chills falling into the upper teens. Sunny skies with highs in the middle 40s can be expected on Wednesday.
