Usually I'd be screeching, where were the parents? I can't this time. WHile on my permit circa 76, my parents constantly reiterated always watch between cars. They would say if a ball or dog shoots out from between cars a small kid is probably right behind. This article reads to me anyhey that the ball had already been picked up. Even the alertest driver can't see something happen 30 ago. The child was excited and had the ball. He wanted to go back home where in his mind he was safe. I see it this time as an unforeseeable incident. WISHES for the boy and family. The driver too. He will have a hellova time with this in his memory.
