I understand that he knows how to ride a four wheeler. But he should not have been drunk.

Gary Simpson is a close friend of mine and hearing people argue about whether four wheelers are safe or not burns me up. This man knows how to ride. The only people who make four wheelers dangerous are the idiots who think they are just a toy! Gary knows what he's doing. It was just a freak accident. So if you don't have a comment that is beneficial to this story, don't post it.

FOR those commenting on 4wheelers, I have ridden with Gray on his and he has always been very careful and safe when I was with him, his is for hunting not speed or acting crazy. I don't know what happened today but I am praying he makes a full recovery so we can find out. He has lost enough.

The media plainly stated EMS had called for back up from East Care. Stupid, its called saving the golden hour. ED and rescue has been my life. You must have been watching cartoons all your life. Thanks EMS/ED for the care provided to this trauma victim. Wish him full recovery.

He is in ICU at Pitt Memorial, he has suffered several broken ribs and internal injuries. The hospital and his employer is having a hard time locating and contacting any of his family. Please keep him in your prayers...btw he rides his 4 wheeler every day and is an experienced rider, for what ever reason he lost control of his 4 wheeler and it flipped and landed on him.... A motorist was riding behind him as this happened and called 911.....

airlifted so they could get proper needed medical attention b/c if they would have gone to Beaufort, they would have been shipped out anyway since they don't have a running OR at all times. So it would make sense not to delay the treatment by riding on EMS to beaufort and then waiting on east care anyway
