2nd Camp Lejeune Marine Dies In Afghan Fighting

The Pentagon says another Camp Lejeune Marine has died in fighting in Afghanistan.

Corporal Johnathan Taylor was killed Tuesday during combat operations in Helmand province. The 23-year-old from Homosassa, Florida was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines.

Taylor is the second Marine from Camp Lejeune killed within the past week. On Tuesday the Marines announced that Lance Corporal Andrew Carpenter died Saturday after being injured earlier in fighting.

God bless his young soul. So many gifted, special Americans have been lost in the middle east; when will it end?

there are several documentaries that are on tv following the soldiers while they are deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan----everyone who has not ever been in the military needs to watch these so we cacn all fully comprehend of what really happens and see the need to psychologically take care of our men in women in the armed forces when they come home with PTSD. What a chilling thing to watch----i know one of the shows in called Battle of camp marjah on showtime or cinemax----and one called camp restrepo on national geographic.
