Two people are dead following a car accident in Wayne County Saturday night.
The Highway Patrol is investigating the crash that took the lives of Donna Braman, 53, of Lucama in Wayne County, and James Govan, 51, of South Carolina.
According to the News and Observer, the head-on collision happened on Highway 117, about one mile north of Fremont around 9:30 p.m.
