A 16-year-old girl is recovering after a roll over wreck that sent her SUV up in flames.
The Highway Patrol told WITN Ashley Langley was driving along Highway 903, just south of Winterville, when she ran off the road around noon on Saturday.
Troopers said Langley hit a ditch, her SUV flipped over and landed upside down.
The teen was thrown from the wreck and the SUV caught fire.
Langley was taken to a hospital where troopers said she is expected to recover.
Vidant Medical Center said it had no public information listed under the teen's name.
No word yet on what caused the wreck or if any charges have been filed.
