Red Cross Bulk Distribution Sites Provide Cleaning, Comfort Supplies

Red Cross volunteers, along with community partners, continue to help those affected by Irene with bulk distribution sites supplied with comfort kits, storage bins, trash bags, gloves, tarps, rakes, shovels, coolers, flashlights and cleaning kits (including mop, broom, bucket, scrub brush and chemicals) a the following locations:

-Princeville Museum & Welcome Center Religious Community Services
201 Main Street 919 George Street
Princeville New Bern
Hours vary Monday – Saturday; 8:00am – 6:00pm

-Ebenezer Baptist Church St Stephen Missionary Baptist Church
652 Raleigh Road 506 York Street
Rocky Mount Elizabeth City
Monday – Friday; 11:00am – 4:00pm Monday – Friday; 9:00am – 6:00pm

-Rodanthe Community Center Dare County Center

Rodanthe Manteo

-First Presbyterian Church
211 W. Second Street
Monday – Thursday; 9:00am – 5:00pm

The Red Cross encourages people who can help to click, text or call to donate to American Red Cross Disaster Relief by visiting, call 1-800-RED CROSS or text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation.

    Is there anywhere to drop off clothes at that will be delivered to people in places such as Pamlico Beach and Aurora?
