STUDY: Healthy Diet May Decrease Risk Of Pre-Term Baby Delivery

Pregnant women who eat a healthy diet may decrease their risk of pre-term delivery.

A new European study found women who ate plenty of fruits and vegetables and drank lots of water were about 15% less likely to have premature babies than those who consumed more high fat, processed and sugary foods.

That doesn't mean expectant moms can't ever indulge in yummy treats.

Researchers say their findings show that increasing consumption of healthy foods is more important than totally avoiding junk food when it comes to reducing the odds of having a premature baby.
