A Nash County woman will have to pay more than $1.7million in restitution after pleading guilty to health care fraud.
The U.S. Attorney's Office says Donna Dickens was sentenced to 5 years in prison plus restitution penalties for receiving more than a million dollars in fraudulent claims from medicare. The scheme ran from January 2005 until march of 2010 while Dickens was doing business as Dickens Health Care Supplies.
The 55-year-old Nashville woman will serve three years supervised release after her prison sentence.
