Man Sues After Part Of Penis Removed During Surgery

An attorney has told a jury his client no longer feels like a man after a surgeon removed part of his penis without consulting him.

The doctor claims he removed part of the penis in 2007 because it was cancerous.

Kevin George is an attorney for truck driver Phillip Seaton, who is suing the doctor. During opening arguments Monday, George showed the jury four photos of Seaton's groin and said, "You can see there's nothing there."

Seaton took the stand later Monday morning.

Attorney Clay Robinson says Dr. John Patterson removed only the tip of Seaton's penis. Patterson said it was riddled with deadly penile cancer. Robinson says another doctor removed the remainder of the penis.
