Graco Recalling Car Seats, Free Replacement Buckle

Graco has agreed to recall 1.9 million infant car seats under pressure from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The company said the harness buckles on the seats can get stuck, making it difficult to unlatch during an emergency.

The affected infant car seats were made between July of 2010 and May of 2013.

Graco said there have been no reported injuries related to the issue.

The car set manufacturer is offering a free replacement buckle, but added the seats are safe and should be used until a new buckle arrives. However, parents are urged to clean the buckle properly. For information on how to do that, click here.

Earlier this year, Graco recalled millions of toddler car seats for the same issue.
