Health officials feel so strongly that you should get vaccinated against the flu that they're giving flu shots for free again Thursday.

The Pitt County Health Department held a free flu shot clinic Wednesday and will again Thursday morning. You don't need an appointment. Vaccinations will be offered Thursday 8:15- 11:30 a.m.

The flu season has already peaked in our state with 31 flu deaths in N.C. this season, but health officials say the illness could still be making the rounds for the next two months.
