Cancer Walk Raised $20,000 In Greenville

Many people in the east spent their Saturday morning walking for a good cause.

A walk for cancer was held at the Greenville Hilton from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Around 800 people participated. Organizers say all the money raised with go towards the Monroe fund at the Leo Jenkins Cancer Center.

That money helps cancer patients who are struggling financially to pay for all their medical bills.

Organizers say around $20,000 was raised.
