A Warning For Gardeners In The East

The North Carolina Cooperative Extension warns gardeners in the east to protect their tomatoes this year from a disease called Late Blight.

The extension said Late Blight is showing up earlier than usual this year. There have been confirmed cases in Northampton and Sampson counties.

The extension suggests applying a fungicide or other treatment to tomato plants before they are infected is the best way to keep Late Blight from killing your tomato plant.
