Campbell's Soup Recalls Spaghettios

Campbell's Soup is recalling about 15-million pounds of Spaghettios with meatballs due to possible under-processing, presenting a possible health hazard.

The recall covers 14.75-ounce cans of "Spaghettios" with meatballs bearing a U-5 product code, "SpaghettiOs" A to Z with meatballs with a 4-N product code and "Spaghettios" Fun Shapes with meatballs with a product code of K-S. The codes are on the bottom of the cans.

Campbell's discovered the problem during an inspection of its own plant.

No illnesses have been reported in connection to these products.

The cans carry the establishment number "est 4k" as well as a "use by" date falling between June 2010 and December 2011.

For more information, consumers can call the Campbell's hotline at (866) 495-3774.

That stuff is just one of the many gross convenience foods for lazy people. I read the ingredients many, many years ago before that was the thing to do. So many of the ingredients I couldn't even pronounce. If it is just meat and pasta, why so many? I once bought and opened a can, and I found what looked like a piece of 'intestine' in the food; it was obviously not a noodle/pasta. That was the end of that. Make your own spaghetti; tastier, more economical, healthier. I remember when all this started; with the introduction of the T.V. dinners. Watch the old MTV video by Z.Z. Top, 'T.V. Dinner'; pretty accurate. It crawls away on it's own.

Yeah... I wouldn't go so far as to call it food. Thank God my mother never fed us that garbage.

This type of food is simply high calorie junk food.Don't use this type food.Fix homemade which is really simple to do.. Parents who buy this type canned food are simply making their kids unhealthy.Read the ingredience. "THis type food is basicly for kids,So you would thinks the manufacturer would prepare it correctly". "Junk Food Makes Sickly & Overweight Kids".

Learn how to can or freeze your own at home. Fresh produce all year long and you don't have to worry about recalls.

Check the shelves of any store there stuffed with unhealthy products. Restaurants to include hospitals, airports serve meals good or bad you'll toss the dice eating there. I ask you the plate in front of you today is it the skull&cross bones for tomorrow. America is a country of scams. Live long and prosper not in this country!

Cancer, disease, obesity... garbage in, garbage out. People need to start being concerned and buy local organic produce like we did just a couple decades ago.
