It's a fundraiser taking aim at helping the children's hospital here in the east..
Over 700 sports shooters are expected to gather in the Washington area this weekend for the 14th annual Log-a-Load for kids clay shooting competition to benefit the Children's Miracle Network.
The event takes place at Hunter's Pointe north of Washington on Highway 17.
The Log-a-Load organization is a collection of timber industry professionals and truckers who host the event to help what they consider to be the most valuable resource in our area...our children.
The goal for this years Log-a-Load is $50,000 for Children's Hospital University Health Systems in Greenville.
Individuals and teams consisting of men and women from ages 8 to 85 will compete throughout the weekend.
