Great American Smokeout

Today marks the 32nd Annual Great American Smokeout, an event that urges smokers to try quitting for one day.

One in five US adults are current smokers. Data shows smoking cigarettes results in more than 440,000 premature deaths every year. Experts say using proven interventions, like help from a doctor, or using FDA approved drugs, can significantly increase the chance of quitting for good.

Obesity has now out done cigarettes yet there are no overeating sections in the buffet line restaurants. Now that dems are holding the reins, it may be just a mater of time. Scales to get in.......
