It seems that adults aren't the only ones who are stressed. New research indicates young children feel the heat too.
Researchers studied 191 preschoolers at 12 different child care centers in the southeast. They took saliva samples to determine their stress hormone level and conducted interviews. They found children in classrooms with 10 students or less, had less stress during the day. However, children in classes with 20 or more students, had higher stress hormones.
