More Hand Bacteria Found On Women

Ladies, you may want to start scrubbing your hands a little more...

A new study finds women have a greater variety of bacteria on their hands, than men. Researchers took samples from the hands of 51 college students, and tested them using a new, highly detailed system for detecting bacteria DNA.

Researchers aren't sure why women have more bacteria, but one reason may have to do with the acidity of the skin. Men typically have more acidic skin than Women.
