The Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Carolina has received a donation of $25,000.
The donation was given by the Friends of the Ronald McDonald House.
The Friends of the Ronald McDonald House has donated more than $280,000 since its first fundraising event in 1992.
The Ronald McDonald House of Eastern Carolina is in Greenville near the hospital. It supports families with seriously hurt or sick children who are receiving care at nearby medical facilities and who live 30 or more miles from the facilities.
The House has served nearly 25,000 families since it opened its doors in 1987.
